Disease Eradication

Orillion products help to safeguard beef, dairy and venison exports

Orillion’s products are the key tools used to safeguard the potential risk to the marketability of New Zealand beef, dairy and venison exports.

Bovine Tuberculosis (TB) previously presented an insurmountable challenge to many New Zealand farmers with most herd infections being traced back to disease carrying possums. Orillion’s products have successfully eradicated the disease from large parts of the country. This success has empowered a plan to be developed for the complete eradication of TB from wildlife vectors by 2040, with our products continuing to play an influential role on the path to TB freedom.
